In the Kitchen is where you will find all my recipes and adapted recipes, tried, tested, and eaten.
One of my favorite quick meals is the infamous smoothie. They are really easy to make and you can basically swap in and out any of your favorite fruits. My go-to? A banana smoothie. It’s crazy cos I am pretty sure I could never eat 3 bananas in a row, but somehow when they’re liquefied it’s all good. Here’s how I make mine:
Banana Smoothie
Ingredients:
3 bananas
a cup of soy milk
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cardamom spice* (unfortunately I was missing this so my smoothie didn’t have that nice “kick,” but was still very tasty.)
a few squirts of sweetener
001: pour a cup of milk into a blender or blending cup (used with a hand held blender).
002: Break up the bananas and throw them in.
003: Add the spices and a few squirts of sweetener. Blend.
004: Pour into a glass and enjoy!
*Add cardamon to upgrade your already amazing banana smoothie to a spicy chai banana smoothie.
