Visual Stimulation features the best of all things visual, creative and inspirational.
A while back, Emma from Emmas Designblogg posted some amazing images (originally from an airbnb offer) of a flat in Tokyo. The exposed shower and gated bedroom “wall” (as you know, I am a huge fan of transparent partitions) combined with the open floor plan makes this flat feel extremely airy. These industrial elements coupled with light wood, stacks of books and records, and photo collages, creates a modern but approachable living space that I would be happy to live in for a week or two. But with a hefty charge of 305€ nightly, not to mention the fact that this flat is located halfway around the world, it looks like I will just have to settle with looking at these photographs.
