ABOUT THE GIRL

My name is Rae, and in addition to running LFB, I work as a photographer and interaction designer. Originally growing up in the south, I left for Berlin after graduating college (late 2009) and haven’t left since. I never seem to have enough hours in the day, but when I do find a rare moment to breathe, I enjoy spending that time with my friends, doing yoga, participating in social and political causes, and finding the best vegan spots in the city. I love going out and stumbling home anywhere between 6 and 10 am, but am just as happy curling up on the sofa in the evening with netflix and my two kitties.

ABOUT THE BLOG

For me the most important aspect of how I run my life is to do so with intention. It is from this value that the idea of a conscious lifestyle was born. A conscious lifestyle is all about being aware and present while making decisions and choices about how we live our lives and treat ourselves, others, and the world around us.
