I’m a hustler baby, just want you to know… With 5am nights and three jobs/events in one day becoming the norm, it’s safe to say this is my current theme song.
Enjoyed myself thoroughly at the Bombay Sapphire The Grand Journey event, which I hope you guys all saw via my Instagram Story. I really love working with companies that are doing incredible things and put so much love and dedication into their event. I used to be a vodka girl, but I have to say I think I now count gin amongst my favorites.
The event was an hour long journey through all of the different countries where spices are sourced from for Bombay Sapphire including drinks inspired from each region. The meal was also entirely vegan (with exception of the last dessert which contained gelatine but there were vegan options for those who objected!)
Worked on some new collages which I cannot wait to share with you for Paperboats and dipped my feet wet in some new work, assisting at a shoot at YouTube as well as covering the Blonde launch party this week. Made it over to Frau Tonis Perfume to learn more about how their stunning hand-crafted fragrances are created.
In between all of the chaos, I have been blogging, editing photos, and trying to spend some time with mates visiting for the weekend. (Edit: Since the original writing of this article, I would like to update you all and let you know that festivities included a boozy night of dancing for hours, drunken outbursts at local bars, and rolling in at 7am – Sometimes I just like to prove to myself I’m not an olde bore yet. But also, I was with some of the most fun people in the world, which made staying out until morning – with a dead iphone no less – completely enjoyable.) It’s been a whirlwind and I’m praying to god I don’t burn out, but I have to say that although I am stressed, I am as happy as ever, getting closer and closer to my goal of making a successful living from what I love doing.
