Calling all Berlin DJs and music producers!
On the 9th of November in Berlin, BACARDÍ is returning to Berlin for another event with Major Lazer, but this time, focusing on a newly-created Major Lazer Limited Edition Rum rum as well as as DJ contest.
DJs and music producers all over Germany are invited to submit a self-produced track that echo the caribbean sound of rum with Dancehall, Reggae und Hip Hop influences for the Sound of Rum DJ Contest on SoundCloud. Once your track has been uploaded to SoundCloud, simply register here.
Three finalists will be chosen based on the likes they receive on SoundCloud. These finalists will then be judged by DJ Jane, Simone Kockelmann, BACARDÍ Brand Manager and Dennis Wolf, BACARDÍ brand ambassador on the 9th of November and a winner will be chosen. The winner of the competition will receive two tickets for the Wireless Festival 2018 in London and be promoted on both BACARDÍ Deutschland’s social media channels and Amazon Music. All finalists will receive a BACARDÍ Major Lazer Limited Edition as well as a premium bar set.
And now a little bit about the limited edition Rum: The BACARDÍ’s Limited Edition Major Lazer Rum was created by Jillionaire who visited the BACARDÍ in Puerto Rico and worked on site with Maestro de Ron, Manny Oliver to come up with a unique distilled creation. The rum is a mix of light and heavy dark rum in combination with fine aromas from tropical fruits, cedar wood, almonds and vanilla.
