Eating Clean, a healthy food box subscription service, had their launch event last week and it was full of delicious and healthful food.

The concept is simple. You can choose from a number of subscription types: a test box, boxes for 4 weeks, or a flexible subscription. The food will then get delivered to you and you. It is then up to you to embark on the arduous task of eating all of the yummy goodness. Each week consists of 8 meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 snacks, and 2 dinners), which means you can use Eating Clean to stay on track and keep healthy but still have the flexibility to go out with friends or prepare your own meals.

Now I am all about good food, so I would be singing Eating Clean’s praises solely based on the fact that their food actually tastes amazing, but the food is also extremely clean, healthy, and mostly vegan. (In the future, Eating Clean is hoping to develop a completely vegan subscription as well!)

At 6,80€-8,60€ a meal – which means shelling out 54,40-€68,80€ for a weeks worth of 8 meals depending on the subscription service you sign up for – the service is not cheap, but if you tend to eat out a lot and are looking to save a bit of money but still enjoy tasty food that is ready to eat but fresh and clean, this is a great option, especially for those that are too busy to spend lots of time in the kitchen themselves but still want to eat clean.

Although I am not sure I am personally able to invest in a food subscription like Eating Clean at the point in time, it was incredible to be part of their launch event and get to sample their food, as it really is incredibly tasty and nutritious (and I was not paid for this blogpost, so I am not getting paid to tell you this – but hell even if I was getting paid for this post, I would still only report the truth cos that’s just how I operate).

Right? I am absolutely in love with that tipi and seriously wish I could make it my home!

  • This reminds me a little of Blue Apron. While it’s not my cup of tea (I’m already an avid cook, so both services cost as much as I typically spend on a week of food), I think it’s great because it encourages people to 1) eat clean, 2) try new diets (I tried a vegan month and it just wasn’t for me, but it opened my eyes to the ethically side and to new options when cooking), and 3) actually cook!

Also, this event looks GORGEOUS. I just got some interior design ideas!

Oh totally. A food subscription service is definitely not for everyone, but is great for people who want to eat clean and try new diets but might not have the time for meal prepping themselves. And yes, the design was totally on point!

  • ah the setting is so lovely! the hut though! there’s a similar catering service in indonesia in which a friend used to provide food for her dad who’s on a diet. it saves so much hassle. imo it’s easier to eat prescribed clean food because it really makes people eat better. with the food, with the scheduled time. so i think it’s an overall win!

You know I really do believe that if you have the extra income to invest in a food subscription box like this, it is well worth it, especially when it both saves time and gets you to eat healthfully!

  • Oh the food looks good and I love the plates! I’ve been hearing a lot of subscriptions for meals lately, but I think I enjoy grocery shopping too much :P Also I need that teepee in my house -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

I know what you mean – I also do love spending time in the kitchen, but the nice thing about this service is it leaves you flexible enough to still do some cooking during the week. And YES I wish I had a tipi in my house too! However, if I had one, I don’t think I’de ever leave my flat!

  • OMG! The photos are too die for!!! And the place! I’m out of words! :) <3
