Two of my favourite things? Eating good food and a beautiful sunny day in Berlin. Which is why I'm always pretty down to combine the two when possible.

Foodora makes this incredibly easy by offering a pick up option on their app which allows you to order food and pick it up from your nearest local restaurant. The idea when combined with a trip to the park? Sound. It’s like picnicing 2.0 if you ask me. Less fuss, less planning shit to have to lug with you to and from the park. Foodora was nice enough to let me test this service out free of charge to see what all the fuss was about and I have to say I was not disappointed. Especially because I got to spend a sunny day in the park with some of my favourite people surrounded by tacos and other good food at the park in Boxi just a 5 minute bike ride away from my home.

It’s super simple- just invite your friends for some food-filled shenanigans (planned to impromptu), download the foodora app if you haven’t already, search for pick up near your location, go wild, and order your food. Foodora will send you a notification when you food is almost ready so you can start to make a move. If Foodora is in your area and you like sunny days outside in the park with your friends then I highly suggest packing up, picking up, and picnicking.

  • This is a nice in-between delivery service where you don’t need to go all the way to the restaurant, but can instead go to a closer pick-up location, and that probably makes the delivery on their part more efficient too! As we get into autumn, I think I will miss summer picnics, although, I don’t do great in the heat, so the transition weather between summer and autumn might be perfect for my picnics haha -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

  • That sounds like such a nice service and definitely great for picnics! And that food looks so yummy!
