When I was young, I used to say that when I grew up I wanted to own a shop that sold fish and flowers. Why? Because they are two beautiful things that people decorate their home with. While purchasing fish solely for aesthetics is now something I would personally find at least slightly questionable, my love for interior aesthetics is still going strong and my love for plants has never died – ironic since my plants ALWAYS die (still trying to strike the perfect balance between over and under watering…)

I may not own a flower-fish shop, but I can at least live out half of my dreams vicariously through Haarkon‘s incredible photographs of Conservatory Archives.

  • Ouah! Dreamy! Also I had a little giggle at the idea of a fish n’ flowers shop. Though the two f’s could make for some fun logo-making :P

  • when i was young, i used to say that i want to be in a place filled with greens and domestic pets (well, if there’s a place where i can be together with our real life “fantastic beasts” like what JK Rowling imagined it then i’ll take it) but never fish hahaha i used to have goldfish and all of them died so fast! 9 of them floated upside down the next day because they died from eating too much :’) i always find fish hilariously ridiculous ^^;;

    these photos are really dreamy though! i’d love to be a place filled with greens but i can’t imagine myself having to look after plants. i never had any gardener side in me LOL :P
