Just returned from Italy, a country that many would argue has some of the best goddamned food on the planet. And while I would definitely not disagree with such a bold statement, Italian food is unfortunately the least friendly cuisine for me, considering the wealth of allergies and “conditions” I have – heartburn, gastritis, milk allergy and fructose malabsorption, for those of you who might be curious. Still, there is nothing more delightful than mealtime, even for those of us who are a bit limited in our choices. And the only thing better than having a good meal is having a friend (or two or three) tho share it with. So in the spirit of good food and community, as well as slowing down to enjoy it all, here are some of my favorite mealtime-themed instagram finds.
