Last week, I came across another amazing photographer, Emily Blincoe. Blincoe, a Texas native, has a pretty impressive resume, consisting of shoots for Target, Levi’s, samsung, and heineken – just to name a few. A quick flip through Blincoe’s online portfolio exposes her wide range of subject matter and unique ability to look at the world. It’s made up of a mix of professional campaigns, travel photography, portraiture, and creative projects that deal with color, pattern, and organization. It’s exciting to see a photographer whose work is made up of such varied themes, and although her photographic voice is clear throughout her body of work, I love how her portraits and travel photography feel soft and dream-like, but her investigations into colors, patterns, and shapes are more calculated and probing, exposing a feeling of curiosity and exploration. Below is a selection of my favorite portraits and travel shots by Blincoe.

Visit Emily Blincoe’s website to view the rest of her work.

Where is this Prada store located? It just seems like such a picture of contradictions. A designer shop seemingly in the middle of nowhere – that is why I love it so much.

And thanks for the suggestion! I will go check him out!

      • It’s in Marfa, Tx. Small desert town that amazing. It’s known for the art scene
