I’ve always known that us lefties are in the minority and we’ve all heard about how lefties are supposed to be “more creative”. However, it’s always been a bit of a mystery as to just exactly how this mutation has managed to stick around throughout the years. This video sorts that all out.

  • that was really interesting! i’m left handed as well, and i’d never thought about it from that angle-thanks for sharing!

  • Wow, I never thought of it as a “mutation” or “wrong, evil, sinister” haha. Interesting video.

Super interesting. So glad I watched it. I’m not left handed but it’s always interested me. http://ashaopryhirsi.blogspot.co.uk/

  • Interesting! Haha I’m one of those people who was naturally left handed, and then my mother forced me to switch into using my right hand. I’m convinced that this is the root cause of my general clumsiness.

  • I am a righty, however, I still found this video very interesting. Thanks for sharing :)

  • Fascinating. I’ve recently started using my mouse with my left hand. It took a while to adjust, but I have got used to it now. I think we can condition ourselves to use our unnatural hand, if we want to.

  • This was so interesting!! I am a lefty so this was so cool! :)

  • This was fascinating! I’m a leftie too (yay) but it’s odd because I actually do most things with my right hand. Writing is about all that I do with my left. I never knew a lot of the things mentioned in the video – like that handedness can be predicted even before birth!! I feel like I’m so used to hearing that “lefties are 20% more likely to die from accidental death” (because we’re living a right handed world) so this was a cool way to think of things.
