This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Poems and Posies by Wildflowers Berlin‘s Flower Crown Therapy Workshop with my dear friend Niki. Now I don’t know about you but I tend to save a million and one different DIY projects to my diy pinterest board, but never really find the time, money, or resources to actually dive into the world of DIY on my own. Which is why attending an event where all the supplies are already provided and lovely #girlbosses are there to show you how to craft are more my speed.
Attend the next Flower Crown Therapy Workshop!

But let me back up and tell you a little bit about the lovely ladies behind Poems and Posies. Poems and Posies, located in Neukölln, is a floral/interior design studio run by Jasmin Lünstroth and Maggie Coker. Lünstroth and Coker, who run workshops, do event styling, weddings, and catering, are passionate about the world of dried flowers and have used this passion to create the therapeutic DIY flower crown workshop I was so graciously invited to attend:
Poems & Posies strive to create beautiful wild spaces where you feel welcomed and inspired… We infuse our differences to create something unique. We’re both passionate about the art of drying flowers and use it as an intricate part in our design and business model, to not only highlight the beauty and range of dried flowers , but also the sustainable and cost effective factor.
Being able to slow down, not think about my giant to-do list, and just work with my hands to create something both sustainable and beautiful in a relaxed and beautiful environment with a steady supply of delicious cakes and bubbly were exactly what I needed after the recent stresses of adulting (side note: I almost got evicted but am happy to say that chapter of my life is now closed and I will not make the mistake of paying my rent late ever again…).
It is so easy to forget in this modern technology-driven world that sometimes the best thing you can do for your soul and mind is to simply unplug, and get crafty. (That being said, as a blogger, I did occupy some of my time with snapping these photos and insta-storying the day, but all in all, it was definitely a reprieve from my usual social media-driven days…)
For those of you who don’t really have the resources to craft at home, I definitely recommend attending Poems and Posies by Wildflowers Berlin‘s next Flower Crown Therapy Workshop (I’ll be there! So come and hang out with me!) or find similar events located in your area. It is both time AND money – there is nothing better than supporting your local community – well spent.
