Continuing with my ever-loving appreciation for all things green and living, I thought I would share with you guys some of my recent favorite finds for how to bring a bit of green into your own home. Unfortunately, I have tried and failed to do this in my own home – I have two cats who eat everything and the inability to keep things alive – but I have still not given up on my dream of turning my home into a greenhouse. In the meantime, I will be lusting after interior set ups like the ones in the photos below:

So much inspiration! I felt the need to add green with plants in my previous apartment as well, but I have moved and now I have a garden, so I have gorgeous view to it and don’t feel the need to have as much pants/flowers in the house. I still have my orchids x

  • What beautiful images! I don’t have the cats but I am super good at killing everything. To my surprise I started growing a chilli plant at Easter and it is now HUGE. I feel like thats a real adult-ing achievement :D

  • Love this inspo! I suck at keeping indoor plants alive, but I really love greenery, so I’ve purchased some artificial plants lately and dotted them around the house!

So glad you liked this post and I am right on with you, about being terrible with plants. Glad that artificial ones work as a compromise for you, Sarah!

  • Lately I’ve been loving the use of those little wood ladders! They’re great alternatives for traditional shelves and cabinets :D -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

Oh I know! I love use use of ladders in the home as a plant holder. Unfortunately, my ladder is metal and all the wooden vintage ones in Berlin are SO expensive!

  • Cats and plants really don’t seem to go together…I don’t know what it is about greenery but cats seem to think anything that grows is food! These are lovely images, you’re making me want to add a new plant or two to my house!

I know it is such a bummer, because I love both!

  • These plants look great they really make a difference to living space

Thanks so much, Katrina, I am so glad you enjoyed this post! Awesome that you are making your home more green – just be careful and make sure the the plans you already own or want to own are not toxic to cats if you plan on getting one!

  • Ooh, they’re all so pretty and inspiring! I especially like the little hanging ones, they’re so cute! My first house plant of my own was an orchid, that I accidentally killed, but I currently have two little cacti going strong, so definitely don’t give up hope!!

Oh no! Yes I have heard that orchids are actually very difficult to keep alive! And that is what I love about cacti! They are practically effortless!
