If you checked out last week’s Weekend Reads, you would know that I am struggling to choose a sofa. Well actually, I have chosen the sofa, but picking a color is so damned hard. It’s between blush pink, grey, or dark blue. After polling you guys and bugging everyone on twitter and instagram, I think I am probably going to go with the blush pink sofa, but if these photos are any indication, you honestly can’t so wrong when choosing a sofa color, as they all work amazingly when mixed in with the right pieces.

  • All of them are so pretty! I’m sure whichever you chose will looks stunning in your place :)

So glad you loved this inspiration, and yes, I think so too! 99% sure I am going to go with the pink!

  • Ah so cosy! For the record, I’d totally go with the pink sofa because when else, other than right now, will you be able to go for pink? ;)

    • rae

I actually am going to go for the pink one! And I see so many pink sofas on pinterest lately styled in a bohemian, adult way that I think it can be used as a neutral color and not turn out too girly!

      • YES!! Dude, I so wish I was in a position to be buying beautiful furniture… but for now I’ll live vicariously through you ;) I’m envisioning a pink sofa accentuated with royal navy blues and wonderful cream-black printed soft furnishings! That Pinterest life…

        • rae

Well sadly the pink sofa was sold out :( So I went with grey but I do not regret my decision, and feel free to live vicariously through my home decor choices, because then I can justify the purchases! Haha!

  • My sofa is green, which I really hated at first but it grew on me. Pairing it with wooden furnitures, white walls and house plants it works really well and the living room looks beautifully bohemian! Blush pink sofa sounds lush, looking forward to see the pictures.

I think if you go with a sofa in a bold color, it can work wonderfully if everything around it is styled properly! And yes, I am sure it looks very bohemian! In fact, I want to see photos now! The blush pink sofa does sound lush, but I read in the reviews that it was more of a purple in person and it was also sold out with the sectional piece on the side I wanted it so I ended up going with grey!

  • I have no idea how I’d style a blush pink sofa (annnnd this is why I dropped out of interior design school), but looking at some of the inspiration pieces in here, it doesn’t look un-doable LOL

But looking at some of the blog photos of your place, I think it would really fit in well with your feminine + bohemian space! I actually have a white sofa, which is a pain to clean–will blush pink be hard to clean, I wonder?

I am sure you can still enjoy decorating your own home though and I am sure some of what you learnt in interior design school has paid off! Yes, I actually think a blush pink is quite a “neutral” color when done right, but sadly the sofa was sold out and I also read in the reviews that it was more of a purple than a pink in person :( and oh no, yes white sofas are beautiful but a pain to keep clean!

  • Oh I just want to lie down on all of these!! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

  • Glad to hear you’ve gone with the blush shade! Although I liked all three and think any of them would look great, the pink is probably slightly more of a statement and I think it’ll stand out and be more of a feature than the other colours and I love that about it!

I did, and was about to buy it until I found out it was sold out with the sectional part on the side I needed it to be on! I also read that it was more a purple in person than a pink so I went with grey! I guess my dreams of having a blush pink sofa will have to wait!

  • blush pink sounds very beautiful. I can’t wait for the day when I have to think about what color my sofa should be haha! I’m terrible at interior decorating, honestly. I’m not sure how my place in the future will look like.

    • rae

It does, doesn’t it? Sadly this dream of mine will have to wait, as the pink sofa was sold out and in the reviews someone mentioned that it was more of a purple than a pink anyway :(

  • Sophie Lee

These are so amazing, i will save them all <3

  • Ahhh. All of these rooms are just so gorgeous and inviting. Love them!
