A few weeks ago, we shared with you BACARDÍ’s The Sound of Rum contest, which took place on the 9th of November. Today we wanted to share with you our thoughts on the contest and share with you the winner.
In celebration of BACARDÍ’s limited edition rum with Major Lazer and in with upholding their passion for music and the arts, BACARDÍ invited the three finalists of the competition to compete live at Haubentaucher in Berlin. Dennis Wolf, BACARDÍ’s brand ambassador, was also there to teach the crowd how to mix three signature drinks featuring BACARDÍ’s Major Lazer Limited Edition rum.
Lukas Prautsch from Suhl, Janine Schreiner from Schifferstadt and Robin Rademacher from Nürnberg each had a chance to impress the audience with their personal take on the sound of rum. Robin Rademacher, who performed last, walked away the winner.
We have said this before and will say it again – BACARDÍ always knows how to put on an event – whether big, like NO COMMISSION or smaller and more intimate like The Sound of Rum contest. We are also consistently impressed with BACARDÍ’s support of the arts whether this means supporting emerging fine artists or giving aspiring and/or professional DJs and music producers a chance to share their craft.
The Sound of Rum was a really great chance to see this in action and we were so glad to be part of the event!
How to make the Bacardi Major Lazer Limited Edition Rum Tinidaddy:
- 5 CL of Bacardi Rum Major Lazer Limited Edition
- 10 CL of Sodawater
- A shot of Angostura bitter
- Lime Juice
Preparation: Put ice into a glass and add all of hte incredience. Add a lemon wedge to the glass. Stir and enjoy!
