Because it’s impossible for Barbie to do anything technical? What a brilliant message to push at young girls. Thanks for linking the article, interesting read!

No problem, glad you enjoyed the read. Sexism is a pervasive problem and the sad part is the way that the few excerpts read, it sounded as if the author was completely oblivious to the stereotypes they were perpetuating and thought that they were actually painting Barbie in a modern light.

  • Great links, thank you so much for providing me with something to read at work :)

      No problem!

I think every girl (or anyone for that matter!) would love to have a bedroom like this.

  • Rae! Sorry for taking a bit to finally stop by your blog – I’ve recently got my wisdom teeth pulled and my flatmate moved back to France, so quite busy! I’m so glad we’re in touch now, I love your photography and content. Can’t wait to see future posts and I would love to meet one day if you’re keen! x

No reason to apologize. Oh man, that definitely doesn’t sound very fun! Really glad that we are in contact as well, and of course I could love to grab a coffee. The next few weeks are quite busy and I will be going back to the US for two weeks (around christmas and into the new year) but we could always meet spontaneously. What is the best way for me to reach you?

      • I know what you mean, this time of year gets so hectic! Funny, I’m flying back to the States for Xmas + New Year as well. I’m a fan of spontaneity if it all works out. I actually am old-school and haven’t had phone service for a year now, so a lot of people contact me via email (tiffanyteetran@icloud.com) or WhatsApp (015213412641) x

Ahhh, I’ve always been so fascinated with hammocks. I know a site sells them as a camping gear and I just remembered that after seeing this post.

    Lovely post by the way!
