Hexe sleeping in the new apartment

001: Almost back to my regular routine, now that I am moved into my new flat. Still have boxes to unpack and things to take care of, including waiting for deliveries – pretty sure the ikea delivery service is going to soon know me by name – having my kitchen built, a visit from the electrician, and many more boring details, but for the most part, it’s really starting to feel like a home here! Which also means that LFB is back! I am not yet back to daily posting, as I want to cut myself a bit of slack since there are still so many things to take care of, but I am so happy to be back to some sort of schedule as I have missed blogging so much!

002: Off to celebrate the first of May today here in Berlin – which is actually hands down my favorite day of the year. First of May used to be more about protests and also came with it’s fair share of violence, but during the time that I have lived here, things have changed a lot and the day has turned into more of a giant festival, which, I think was a conscious decision on the part of Berlin as a way to curb the violence. Although I am sad that the day has become less political over the years, I am happy that the level of violence has been greatly reduced.

First of May celebrations can be found in the heart of X-berg (Kreuzberg) near Görlitzer Bahnhof, so I that is where you will find me today – eating street food and chilling at the Coretex stage listening to free concerts all day.

001: You don’t need more motivation or inspiration to create the life you want. You need less shame around the idea that you’re not doing your best. – For any of you who are being too hard on yourselves lately, this article is for you.

002: For whatever reason, my skin has been taking an extra beating lately. As I am currently battling uneven patches and pimples, I am all about rescuing my skin. Enter the 10-step Korean skincare routine with a twist, featuring clean skincare products only. Awesome, right?

003: So two brothers convinced their highly sedated sister that a zombie apocalypse had broken out after the poor girl had gotten her wisdom teeth removed. Here is the result.
004: Is there anything cuter than a baby polar bear? Me thinks not.

005: I am always a sucker for beautiful lifestyle and/or adventure photography, which is why I am going crazy for these photographs.

006: Believe it or not, even though I dye my own hair, I am pretty hopeless when it comes to styling it. Hoping these 6 easy hair tutorials will help me up my game.

004: Vegan Organic Scrubs – to slough away winter skin
Although it is technically spring, the weather has been pretty frigid here in Berlin. As such, my skin has been taking a pretty rough beating, which is why I am absolutely crazy right now about these three awesome DIYS.
