While in Puerto Rico, I discovered an unlikely juice bar situated smack dab in between the hotel that my parents and brother were staying at and the beach. Needless to say, I made a few visits to Bajuice juice bar while on the island, indulging in delicious and refreshing shakes all week.

(I also discovered sushi with an island twist from a local sushi restaurant that was surprisingly incredible – MANGO SUSHI – who would have thought right? God bless the Puerto Ricans for their delicious mangos and the lovely Chinese family who ran the restaurant who I think came up with this variation, because it’s hands down one of the best goddamned thing you will ever eat. But I digress…)

Bajuice is a cute little place to either grab a smoothie, juice (which are said to be 100% natural!) or quick lunch while on your way to or from the beach. If you find yourself in Puerto Rico this summer, it’s definitely worth checking out!

Oh Mango sushi and fresh smoothies?! Sounds perfect to me!!

  • Wow, that looks like such a bright, welcoming place! I think the whole idea of juice bars is such a fantastic thing–so fresh and healthy and delicious. I don’t do a lot of juice myself (my body doesn’t seem to love a whole lot of raw fruit) but I absolutely love that there are places like this out there for people who do like/drink juices. So glad you enjoyed yourself, and I hope you had a lovely trip to Puerto Rico!

  • That smoothie looks amazing! But oh my gosh, mango sushi? I want to find it somewhere so bad now!
