In Life

001: Have returned to Berlin, where I have been trying and failing to establish normal sleep patterns. I did manage to wake up at a regular hour once within the last seven days, however, which I spent with my friend Hannah, hanging out at the Unicorn in Mitte and talking about our travel plans to Prague next month(!) If any of you guys have recommendations of where to go, please let me know!

On the web

001: An interesting look at the less than glamorous side of Korea.
002: As a lady whose last boyfriend was 14 years my senior, found this read about what it’s really like to date an older man quite interesting. Although not all points fit with my particular situation, I did find myself nodding along with a lot of it.
003: As you are all aware, I have been just mad about tacos lately, so I am totally into Pinch of Yum’s spicy fish taco bowls with cilantro lime slaw. For all of you non-fish eaters out there, I am pretty sure this would taste amazing with grilled or fried tofu as well.
004: Peyton Fulford’s incredible photo series, abandoned love.
005: Good news, everyone. Science has finally explained resting bitch face. Turns out, it really is a thing.
006: Fascinating article about how it may be possible to train your immune system – really breakthrough science especially for those suffering from diseases like Lupus, or who have received transplants.
007: The leeday.’s Tha Majarah Bangkok Guide, full of stunning travel photos.

That abandoned love series is gorgeous. I love the simplicity, and colours within the shots. Oh, I have RBF constantly. That, and my face pulling expressions that happen to be completely different to how I am feeling. I’ll get asked why I’m smiling, when inside I am as far from that as can be!

Isn’t it? I think it is quite powerful as well. That is so interesting too about people asking why you are smiling… maybe you suffer from both RBF and RHF (resting happy face?! Is that even a thing?!)
